Conducting Research at Cedar Creek

Annual Progress and Archiving of Data

As a condition of working at Cedar Creek, each researcher must submit a brief annual progress report consisting of a summary of activities and accomplishments (100 word maximum), and three reprints of all publications and a machine-readable electronic reprint (preferably a pdf file). Because we will assemble all such reports into an annual report for Cedar Creek that will appear on our web site, we also ask that you provide us with one or two appropriate photographs (an e-mailed jpeg or similar file would be great). Finally, we request that you notify us of the titles of papers submitted for review because this will help minimize the chance that we might miss work when published and thus not add it to the list of Cedar Creek publications.

For the long-term benefit of science, and for the long-term utility of the field station, it is required that all researchers provide CCNHA with copies of field methods, preferably in machine-readable form. We also request that all data gathered at CCNHA be given to CCNHA for long-term archiving. All such data will be archived and access allowed only in accordance with the Cedar Creek Data Ethics Code.
