Description:
In July 1999, aboveground biomass was clipped at eight points (points
8,9,10,11,14,15,16,17) in a .5 m by .5 m square frame in 12 plots of E133.  The
clipped plants were sorted to shrubs (anything with a woody stem) and herbs (all
non woody plants).  Anything rooted in the framed area was clipped.  These
biomass samples were dried and weighed, and will be ground separately by plot
and type.  All points in one plot will be ground together to get one amalgamated
sample.
