Description:
In July 1999, belowground biomass was sampled using one 2 inch diameter core
from 0-20 cm and 2-40 cm.  Cores were taken at eight points (points
8,9,10,11,14,15,16,17) in 12 plots of E133.  The roots were washed and sorted to
coarse, crown, and fine.  These samples were dried and weighed, and will be
ground separately by plot and depth.   All points in one plot will be ground
together to get one amalgamated sample.
